More About Teresa

Teresa began her working life in Retail as an Assistant Manageress of a small computer games shop at the age of 16. Moving to a large international company at the age of 18 and into Lower Management. She gained a wealth of important skills and life experience, but after 17 more years in Retail Teresa needed a career change. Teresa enrolled herself onto various courses and evening classes to enable her to achieve this goal.

In 2008 Teresa moved into the Construction Industry and into the Accounts Department of an International Construction company as Accounts Assistant, being promoted to Assistant Project Accountant on her second project. Working onsite on Projects gave her first-hand knowledge and insight of how First Aid and First Aiders play such an important role not only in the work environment but it also highlighted how important it is in everyday life.

Teresa has worked on 2 large and exceptional projects in this time, the first was being part of the £190M Felixstowe South Reconfiguration at Landguard Fort. The development involved major expansion of the container port and commissioning of 730 metres of deep water quay enabling the Port to accommodate the largest container ships afloat. The second Project was being part of the £300M Peacehaven Water Treatment Works in East Sussex. Upgrading for the future using the best technology and experience to replace 13 miles of tunnels and shafts making this environmentally friendly as well as a highly functional landmark. Two amazing projects gaining a wealth of experience along the way.
