Phoenix Emergency Medical Solutions is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.   Phoenix Emergency Medical Solutions may change this privacy policy from time to time to continue to keep this statement up to date and in line with GDPR and any changes within in the business.  You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.  This policy is effective from 25^th May 2018.

Who we are:

Depending on what you require or which courses you book we will/may need to collect some or all of the following information:

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Contact Information including email address
• Demographic information such as address and postcode

Phoenix Emergency Medical Solutions are registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office)

We never use any information given to us for marketing.  We never share any details given to us with any third parties.   Any; and all information collected is only supplied to our awarding organisation as required by them for verification purposes such as issuing certificates and preventing cases of learning fraud.

We will only contact you regarding ongoing training or to send a reminder for certificates about to expire or up for renewal.  Or where there is ‘legitimate interest’.

What we do with the information we gather:

• All account information is kept secure, and in line with GDPR guidelines.
• All information gathered from courses is uploaded onto our awarding organisation’s dashboard on the same day and all hard copies from the 1^st January 2019 will be destroyed within 14 working days of the course. All hard copies held presently will be destroyed in the correct and safe process in line with this privacy policy and data protection requirements by 1^st February 2019.

How long do we keep information for:

Any personal or training information that we keep electronically (from 1^st January 2019/1^st February 2019) will be kept for 7 years and then destroyed safely and securely in line with GDPR regulations.

We may require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and for the following reasons:

• Internal record keeping
• We may use the information to improve our products and services
• Using the email or telephone number you have provided, we may periodically contact you regarding special offers or other information we feel may be of interest to you through legitimate interest.

Security:

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electrical and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

• Please note that we never take any personal or collected information out of the premises ie; to courses, conferences or to meetings. All or any information that we store electronically is stored safely, securely and in line with GDPR on the premises at all times.

Our website may contain links to enable you to visit other websites of interest easily.  However, should you decide to use these links and leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website.  Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites are that are not governed by this privacy policy.  You should always exercise caution and look at the privacy policy applicable to the websites you visit.

Your rights in relation to personal data:

Under GDPR we respect your rights to access and control the information we hold on you.

• Your right to request copies of everything we hold
• Correction or deletion of information held solely with Phoenix Emergency Medical Solutions
• Restriction of processing and objection if or where applicable
• Lodging a complaint with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office)

It is your right to request information we hold on you.  However, we only hold limited amounts.  Depending on what you require, it may be information that once supplied to our awarding organisation we no longer hold this information and so we will supply you with their details so that you can contact them directly.

Correction or deletion of information can be carried out easily if it is something we still hold on file.  If our awarding organisation carries this information we will issue you their details for you to contact them directly as above.

Please note: our awarding organisation ProTrainings.eu can correct or delete information for you and can delete your whole account if required (if you supplied your email address and a dashboard set up for you) however, if you have been issued a certificate at any point, they cannot delete this information due to compliance and verification purposes.

Our awarding organisation is ProTrainings.eu.  They are ISO 9001 : 2015 Registered and ISO 45001 : 2018 Registered.  ProTrainings.eu deliver regulated qualifications through TQUK and FutureQuals who are regulated and governed through Ofqual.
